The brassicas are really loving this weather. Broccoli is going to pop soon for #lazyeightcsa #organicfarming

Onions are one of the hardest crops for us to keep weed free. They are relatively slow growing and the leaves struggle to shade out young weeds. This morning Luis, Jaime, Adilene, Joel, Susan, and Javier put a lot of hard work into cleaning up this field and it’s beautiful! We use the silver plastic mulch to reduce the weed pressure, preserve soil moisture and deter onion pests. All signs point towards a nice harvest. #lazyeightcsa will enjoy Cabernet Red, Candy Yellow, Sierra Blanca White, Red Shallots, and Purple and White scallions. #kyfarmshare #kyproud
