Lazy Eight Stock Farm CSA Options

Those of you who attended the Farmers Market potluck a couple of weeks ago may have picked up an handout about our fall CSA option. This will be a 7 week option – beginning Tuesday, November 6 and continuing through December 18. (The current CSA ends Tuesday, October 30). But for those who didn’t get the information, you can download the document with the details (includes details of the 2013 CSA options as well). If you have questions or would like to sign up for CSA options, let us know when you come to the market, reply to this email, or give us a call (859.200.4831 or 859.661.1501). Please forward on to anyone you think might be interested.

And lastly, we want you to also mark your calendar for Sunday, October 28 for a potluck supper for our CSA members. We are very excited to have all of our CSA community together on the farm for food and fellowship, as well as having time to get feedback from you about your CSA experience with LESF. P.S. Just a note that because of the high sugar content and the thin flesh of the Delicata squash, they do not keep as well as the butternut or acorn squash. If you have not used yours yet, you might consider refrigerating, roasting or freezing them for future use.
